Monika M. Milani is a professional actor and singer that specializes in voiceover and musical theater. As a child of immigrants, with ancestry from the Philippines and Iran, she is a proud representative of the AAPI, SWANA/MENA, and LGBTQIA+ communities in the Arts. Monika is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area.  She boasts powerful, highly adaptive vocals with expressive and grounded acting and a genuine dedication to depth and authenticity in her work.

At the start of 2026, she fulfilled a longtime goal of participating in a performance competition at a beloved convention and won the Grand Prize for Anime Los Angeles 21’s Next Top Star contest singing Tot Musica by Ado.  In July of 2026, she was crowned as one of the finalists/winners of the Bang Zoom! Studios' Open Auditions at Anime Expo.

Outside of her professional Acting career, Monika has been an active part of the Anime and Video Game con-going and cosplay community since 2011, where she goes by the pen name ‘munkalanii’, an emerging J-Rock performer and content creator.
